Lego Star Wars 8015 - Assassin Droids Battle Pack

Another C$12.95 Lego set from Chapters/Indigo.

The top pieces constitute the droid's head, while the wrench looking pieces are the neck and arms. Take note of the two purple transparent piece on the top right, super like.

The 2-tone triangular piece (right most) has a flexible tail. At the bottom left are the Assassin Droid riffles, one is longer than the other four. I'm a big fan of the navy color pieces here.

Assassin Droids have to hold on the blue handle to keep themselves in place, or they might fall out of the vehicle.

Visually, these mini-figures look great. Function-wise, not good. Arms tend to fall off when putting in riffles. Feet do have enclosures on the heel to properly clasp on studs. They could not even stand straight when holding a riffle, and they have to lean backwards to balance the riffle's weight.

Conclusion: I'm not a big fan of the Assassin Droids here, neither the vehicle. However, just like the 8014 set, the vehicle has some useful/interesting pieces such as the purple translucents and navy blues. The Droids are not bad either, you get riffles and a bunch of wrenches! I was hoping these droids can make funny poses.

I don't think this set is worth your money, but it's one set to get those Assassin Droids, in fact 5 of them. I will not recommend this set, buy the ones with Storm and Clone Troopers.

Lego Star Wars 30005 - Imperial Speeder Bike

I got this set mainly because of the Storm Trooper. The Speeder Bike has a lot of useful pieces.

Let's take a look!

From the pieces above, we could see pairs of hatchets, guns, and telescopes. And yes, the head of the Storm Tropper is just plain black, what a bummer.

Conclusion: Very nice set if you like to get the Storm Trooper minifigure, and spare parts from the Speeder Bike. The bike has some very useful pieces.

LEGO 8014 - Clone Walker Battle Pack

I was thinking of buying the Lego set 7913 but decide to wait until it will go on sale, MSRP is like $15. Then I saw this Lego set 8014, from Chapter/Indigo's online store for $13. I got a $5-off coupon so I ordered it together with the Camper (7639). It's free shipping for orders above $25.

Here are the photos of the box.

Inside there are 3 packets and the build instruction. Here are the pieces.

The smaller guns are a little bit hard to place on the minifigs hands. I literally hate the black pieces on the lower right of the above photo. The body armor is assymetric, and I still yet to figure out the use of those 4 smallest black pieces.

Lego 8014 - Minifigures

I like the minifigures although not crazy about them. The head pieces are easily removed. Plus points for the body prints and hand weapons.

Lego 8014 - Clone Walker

Here you could see the walker, and the extra pieces. I like that there are some colors. The pentagon pieces at the front where the 2x2 circles are attached are a bit loose, I'm not sure what the looseness is for.

Here's the set without the 2 stickers on the 2x2 circles.

Conclusion: Nice set actually. I like almost all aspects of it.
